Philosophy
of Steve Vaughan
Through my
years of teaching thousands of students I have come
to the understanding that no two people are the same.
People have different ways of learning , different body
types and different swing types, my job is to adapt
to each student rather than the student adapting to
me. The one thing that people have in common is that
all students have certain tendencies that they fall
back into under pressure, lack of playing or practice.
My job is to identify these tendencies and find the
best way for each individual to play and practice at
there individual peak. The golf swing is a series of
movements when one part breaks down it can lead to compensations
or the break down of other parts of the swing. Many
instructors can tell you what is wrong with your swing.
The key to improving is to put your focus on the part
of your swing that is causing the most problems. This
can lead to other parts of your swing improving sometimes
without the student even realizing it.
